Cecil P. Williams, 90, of Southington, died Dec.16, 2010, at The Hospital of Central Connecticut, Bradley Campus. He was the husband of Alice (LaButis) Williams.He was born Feb. 20, 1920, in Goodwell, Okla., and was the son of the late Cecil C. and Daisy (Kemp) Williams. He had served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He had worked for New York Telephone (Verizon) as an engineer and was a parishioner of St. Dominic Church, Southington.Besides his wife, he is survived by his three children, a daughter, Barbara Heuer, of Southington; sons, Warren Williams, also of Southington, and Richard Williams, of Norwich; four grandchildren; eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.A Mass was held Dec. 21, 2010, at St. Dominic Church, Southington. Burial was at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Meriden. DellaVecchia Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
