Cathy Deborah Smith, 44, Bradenton and formerly of Sarasota, died May 30, 2004. She was born May 2, 1960, in Gadsden, Ala., and came to Bradenton 23 years ago from Sarasota. She was a licensed practical nurse. She was a Baptist. Survivors include her parents, Edward and Donna of Bradenton; a daughter, Athyna N. of Bradenton; brothers Roger of Sarasota and Jackie W. of Bradenton; and two grandchildren. The visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, with a service to follow, at Wiegand Brothers Funeral Home, Sarasota. Burial will be Thursday at Palms Memorial Park, Sarasota.
