Cathy Cheryl Crowe January 14, 1958 ~ May 17, 2015 (age 57) It is with sadness the family announces the passing of Cathy Crowe, devoted wife, mother, daughter and best friend which occurred peacefully on Sunday, May 17th 2015 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was born on January 14th, 1958 in Hamilton, Ontario to Ina Cowan and Jim Anderson. Cathy was a very strong and successful business woman in our community, owning and operating the Tight Rope Taxes Company. Throughout her life, she worked at numerous Tax Offices and was the Assistant Manager at Campers World in Edmonton. Cathy loved the outdoors, travelling and especially her family. She had a love for fishing, hunting and knew how to have a good time. She was a best friend to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. Cathy is survived by her husband; David Crowe and her children; Brian (Erika) of BC, Kevin (Shannon) of NFLD, Jamie (Rachel) of Vancouver, Tony (Amy Chandler) of Garnett Settlement and Natasha (Christopher) of Ontario. Cathy will be remembered by her brother; David and sister; Patricia. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Briannah, Spencer, Parker, Avielle, Molly and Emilly. She was soon expecting the arrival of her next grandson from Natasha and Chris. Cathy will be missed by her numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles; as well as Tess the cat. Cathy is predeceased by her first husband; Brian Willowghby. Cathy and family would like to acknowledge and thank Tammy and Lynn for taking care of Tight Rope Taxes. Cathy will be resting at the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation being held on Tuesday, May 19th 2015 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, May 20th at 12:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the reception area. Private family interment will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Memorial donations in memory of Cathy may be placed towards the Canadian Cancer Society.
