->Smith, CathleenCathleen A. Smith, a life long resident of South Nyack, passed away on June 4, 2012. Cathleen was the dear daughter of the late Dr. Thomas J. and Virginia Smith of South Nyack. Cathleen was a graduate of Saint Ann's School in Nyack and also the Tappan Zee High School. She also attended the Grace Institute in Manhattan. She was employed for many years in the Library of the Dominican College in Blauvelt. She was a faithful member all of her life, of Saint Ann's Roman Catholic Church. She was also a member of Saint Ann's Rosary Society. She is survived by her sister, Virginia M. Smith of South Nyack. Her brother, Lieutenant Col. (ret.) John J. and Mary Smith of Aiken, S.C. also her sister, Mary Malone of Nyack, and sister in law, Marilyn Smith Burns. She was predeceased by her brother, Col. Thomas J. Smith, Jr. M.D. She was the Loved and loving aunt of 11 nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at 10AM at Saint Ann's R.C. Church, 19 Jefferson Street in Nyack, with burial to follow at Rockland Cemetery in Sparkill. Visiting hours are scheduled for Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9PM at the Hannemann Funeral Home, Inc. in Nyack.
