Catherine 88 of Hendersonville, NC, died Friday, November 16, 2001, in Elizabeth House following an extended illness. She was born in Luzerne County, PA. Formerly of 523 Morley Place, Elmira. She worked for St. Joseph's Hospital for 25 years. She was the wife of James Williams, who died in 1961. Survivors include a son Herbert R. Williams of Elmira, NY; two daughters, Nancy J. Hendershott of Ft. Myers, FL. and Catherine Williams of Hendersonville, NC; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her. A memorial service was held in the Kirby Memorial Chapel of Shuler Funeral Home.
