Catherine Susan (Croisant) Varner, of Chelsea, MI, formerly of Scituate, MA, age 55, passed away Wednesday, June 2, 2010, due to lymphoma. Catherine will be remembered by her family and friends as a fiercely devoted mother, spouse, daughter, and sibling, while also being an exceptional attorney, teacher, writer, poet and playwright. Catherine is survived by her parents of Midland; her husband; three children, Marius (Malissa) of Saline, Eleana Flo, and Michael, both at home; two grandchildren, Calihan and Rianne; her siblings, Peter (Diane) Croisant of Beaver Falls, PA, Mary (Hank) Woods of Ypsilanti, and Robert (Donna) Croisant of Merriman, KS; and 10 nieces and nephews. A memorial service will take place 1 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 4, at St. Lukes Episcopal Church, Scituate, MA.
