August 20, 2003 Catherine "Vera" Nelson, 78, of Oswego. Died August 20, 2003. She was an operator for the N.Y. Telephone Co. for over 45 years. At time of retirement, she worked for the Fraud Investigation. Member of pioneer club with the telephone Co. and a member of the R.S.V.P. and volunteered for numerous organizations. Predeceased by husband Richard Nelson. One brother Edward Finn. Surviving: One daughter, Judith Ann and Jim Kelly of Rochester. Three sons, Richard and Kathleen Nelson, Patrick Nelson, and Mark Nelson, all of Oswego. Two Brothers, William Finn of Oswego and Harold Finn of Conn. Two Sisters, Arlene Lloyd of Liverpool and Mary Agnes Antwine of Henderson Harbor. Six grandchildren. Services: 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Stephen's Church, Oswego.
