McKROW, Catherine (nee Murphy) In her 89th year, on June 27, 2000 at Windsor Regional Hospital, Western Campus, peacefully with family at her side. Predeceased by loving husband Edmund McKrow (1981). Beloved mother of Margaret Anne and Bob Truscott, of St. Clair Beach, Pauline and Bill Graat, of Windsor, Kathleen Browning and Reg Baird, of Brampton, Elaine and Bill Buchner, of London, Barbara and Gabe Gat, of Victoria, B.C. and Rosemary Fox and friend Ted Jackson, of Comber. Predeceased by Norman (1945). Loving grandmother of Jennifer and Jeffrey Grondin, Stephanie Truscott, Christie and Meaghan Graat, William Buchner, Gabe Jr., Christopher, Ander and Michael Gat, Dustin, Jason and Allison Fox. Predeceased by grandson William (B.J.) Graat (1981). Great grandmother of Avery Grondin. Predeceased by brothers and sisters Neil and Shell Murphy, Edna Smith, Raymond and Elsie Murphy, Gertrude and Vince Goeddeke, Eleanor and Jim Sherlock and Howard Murphy. Sister-in-law of Joseph and Doris McKrow, Bernard and Mary McKrow. Predeceased by brothers-in-law Frank and Angela McKrow, Raymond and Mary McKrow. Catherine was a life member of the Catholic Women's League of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Special thanks to the Nurses and Doctors of the 3rd Floor at Windsor Regional Hospital. Family and friends will be received at the Marcotte Funeral Home & Chapel, 870 Wyandotte St.E., on Thursday from 2:30- 5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Prayer Service Thursday at 8 p.m. Funeral Service from the funeral home on Friday, June 30, 2000 at 9:15 a.m. to Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 834 Raymo Rd. at Wyandotte St.E. for Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Interment to follow St. Alphonsus Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Arthritis Society of Canada. A tree will be planted in memory of Catherine McKrow, in the Janisse, Marcotte, Melady Memorial Forest.
