->Cusick, Catherine L.Marathon: Catherine L. Cusick, 81, of 12 Tannery St., Marathon, NY, passed away on Friday, May 18, 2012. Catherine was born on February 14, 1931 in Utica, NY, a daughter of the late Amelia (Ernest) and Edward Murray. She was a homemaker and devoted her life selflessly to her son, James. She was a fan of Syracuse Basketball and a member of St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Marathon as well as its Altar Rosary Society. Surviving are her children, Kathleen M. Cusick, Therese A. Cusick, and her angel James J. Cusick; her brother, Fred Murray; as well as many nieces and nephews and a family friend, Fred Zoll. Her husband, James J. Cusick, predeceased her on September 2, 1993. Her brothers, Edward Murray and Robert Murray as well as her sisters, Mary Murray, Marguerite Barry and Rita Wilson, also predeceased her. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at St. Stephen's Roman Catholic Church in Marathon. Calling hours will precede the funeral mass from 11-12 noon at the church. Donations in Catherine's memory may be made to Peck Memorial Library or St. Stephen's Roman Catholic Church.
