LEE, CATHERINE I. "MOMS," 79, of South Louisville, died suddenly on Wednesday, November 30, 2005. She was a retired homemaker, one of 12 siblings, loving mother of five children, grandmother of 12, step-grandmother of four, great-grand-mother of 20, and step-great-grand-mother of eight. She was a member of St. Rita Catholic Church. She loved life in general, traveling, bingo, camping, Let it Ride and Christmas. She lived her life to the fullest and had a wonderful sense of humor. Her biggest achievement was surviving lung cancer. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, Joseph R. "Joe" Lee Sr.; and her daughter, Suzan. She is survived by her devoted children, Joseph R. Lee Jr., Sandra M. Watson (Charles L.), Anthony Lee (Denise), Sharon Ernst (Robert C.) and Peggy Ray; sister, Maxine Nelson; brothers, George, Bill (Rosemary) and John (Pat) Evans. Her funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Rita Catholic Church, 8709 Preston Highway, with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Friday at Arch L. Heady & Son, Okolona. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Cancer Society.
