CATHERINE F. YOUNG GRIFFITH, IN Catherine F. Young (nee Paris), age 73, of Griffith, passed away Thursday, January 8, 2009. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Bennett; four children: Sharon (John) Abel, Stephen (Diane) Young, Robert (Mona) Young and Darrell (April) Young; ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; three sisters: Fern White, Nora Young and Ruth Schutter; one brother, Thomas Paris; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Young was preceded in death by three children: Karen Fay Young, Kenneth Joseph Young and Gary Eugene Young; and one sister, Rachel Jones. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 12, 2009 at 11:30 a.m. at the Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road (two blocks south of Ridge Road), Highland, IN with Pastor Bill Wade officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Sunday from 4:00-9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
