Catherine Dodge Lee, 95, passed away peacefully at her home with her daughter by her side on December 23, 2009 in Palm Coast, Florida. She was born in Brooklyn, New York on July 31, 1914 and graduated from Brooklyn College in New York and taught elementary education in the New York City School system for 30 years. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 60 years, Curtis Lee in 2001. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Lee-Bowles, Palm Coast; granddaughter, Kymberly Church, Lynbrook, NY; grandson, Sean C. Dent and his wife Alane, Fairfax Station, VA; and three great-grandchildren, all of which she adored and a host of nieces and nephews. Catherine was an avid card player and active in the Shawl Ministry and Episcopal Churchwomen at St. Thomas Episcopal Church of Flagler County. Catherine was always a charming and lovely lady. A celebration of her life will be held on January 16th at 2:00 pm at St. Thomas Episcopal Church of Flagler County. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made in her memory to St. Thomas Episcopal Church Shawl Ministry and St. Thomas Episcopal Church women.
