Catherine "Cat" Davis, 88, died Oct. 4, 2008, at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center in Fort Pierce. She was born in Mayesville, S.C., and lived in Fort Pierce for 52 years, coming from Mayesville, S.C. She was a mother of the church at First Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include her sons, Kenneth Scott and Wayne Scott, both of Fort Pierce; daughter, Tina Wilson of Fort Pierce; brothers, Albert Spears of Fort Pierce and Louis Richardson Jr., Winston Richardson and Frank Richardson, all of Sumter, S.C.; and sisters, Rosa Spears and Mary Briggs, both of Fort Pierce, and Sarah Johnson and Almetia Williams, both of Sumter. She was preceded in death by her husband; Albert Davis, and brother, Isaac Richardson. SERVICES: Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Oct. 10 and 9 a.m. to noon Oct. 11 at Sarah's Memorial Chapel. A homegoing celebration will be at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 11 at First Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Fort Pierce. Burial will be in Riverview Memorial Park.
