Obituary of Catherine Carter

Catherine "Cathy" Carter - Glennville -Catherine "Cathy" Carter, 66, died Thursday, October 19, 2006, at Regional Medical Center in Statesboro, GA after a courageous battle with cancer. Cathy loved God, her family, her friends and her garden. Cathy was loved by many and will be sorely missed. She is survived by two daughters and son-in-law: Debbie and William "Rocky" Roberts of Jacksonville, FL and Teresa Nettles of Tybee Island, GA; two grandchildren: Chase and Anna Roberts of Jacksonville, FL, who loved their "Ganny" so much. She is also survived by numerous friends and relatives. A Memorial service will be held Saturday, October 21, 2006 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Glennville, GA. Immediately following the service, there will be a gathering of friends and family in the Church social hall. Burial will be on Friday, October 20, 2006 at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Jacksonville, FL. A special Thank You to Aunt Christine, Dorian Proctor, Judy Dasher, Margaret Joseph, Pat Bland, and the church family of First Baptist Church of Glennville for the care and concern that you have shown to our Mother.
