SPARTANBURG, SC-- Catherine Crain Brewer, 68, of 425 South Church Street, died Thursday, June 8, 2006, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born September 30, 1937, in Spartanburg County, SC, she was the daughter of the late George Thomas and Lucy Lowe Crain. She was retired from Thomas and Howard with over thirty years of service and was a member of Truth Chapel.Survivors include her husband of 40 years, James R. Brewer; a step-son, James E. Brewer of Wellford; a step-daughter, Kimberly Nicole Brewer of Lyman; a step-grandson, Michael Brewer of Spartanburg; a brother, Ronnie Crain of Glendale; and a sister, Elsie Jennings of Spartanburg. She was predeceased by a brother, Bill Crain.Visitation will be 7:00 - 9:00 pm Saturday, June 10, 2006, at Floyds North Church Street Chapel.
