Catherine A. Johnson Catherine A. Johnson, 51, of Bridgeton died unexpectedly Monday morning, Feb. 28, 2011 at her home. Cathy was born in Ayr, Ontario, Canada and was the daughter of Mollie Ann (nee King) Johnson of Bridgeton and late Harvey P. Johnson, who died in 1983. She resided with her mom and had served as her caregiver for many years. A graduate of Iroquois High School in Elma, N.Y., Cathy was an animal lover and she also enjoyed country music. She attended The Parish of the Holy Cross/St. Teresa of Avila RC Church. In addition to her mother, she is survived by one brother, Harvey P. Johnson Jr. and his wife Neva; two sisters, Louise Boldt and her husband, Robert of Orchard Park, N.Y. and Helen Tarpey of Newport Beach, Calif.; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased, in addition to her father; by a brother, Daniel James Johnson, in 2008. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at The Parish of the Holy Cross/St. Teresa of Avila RC Church, 46 Central Ave., in Bridgeton on Saturday morning, March 5, at 10:30. The burial of the cremated remains will take place privately and by invitation on a later date in the family cemetery lot at St. MaryÕs Cemetery in Bridgeton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to the Cumberland County SPCA, 1244 N. Delsea Drive, Vineland, NJ 08360.
