Obituary of Carroll-Robert Anderson

ANDERSON, Carroll Robert. Carroll passed away peacefully in his ninety-third year on Monday, May 23, 2005 at Bayview Hospital. Beloved brother of Ena Cook (Mark) of Houston, Texas and of the late Dorothy Dullege. Loving and proud uncle of Barry Blouin (Allison), Lynda Trickey (Ron) and Christopher Dullege. Loving and fun great-uncle of Craig Blouin (Sandra), Tracey Blouin (Mark), Alana Blouin (Gabe) and Scott Trickey. Loving "Special" uncle of Sandra Lowson (Stewart). Sincere thanks to Dr. Janet Wilson and the 4th floor staff for their great care and kindness to Carroll and to our family during the last few days and to the special gals and volunteers in the Recreation Department for always including Carroll in their activities. Thank you also to Fran Porteous who was our angel when we needed her and to our many friends at Le Strathmore who were such a wonderful part of our life. Carroll's struggle with Alzheimer's disease did not diminish his joie de vivre, his wonderful laugh, his love of music and people. Rest in peace, Dear Uncle, and know you will always be in our hearts. Service in the Chapel of the Mount Royal Funeral Complex, 1297 Chemin de la Foret, Outremont (279-6540) on Friday, May 27 at 12 noon with visitation one hour prior to the Service. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Association will be gratefully accepted. Published in the Montreal Gazette on 5/26/2005
