He was retired after 43 years with Winn Dixie and later worked 12 years with Bi Lo. Mr. Hill was a U.S. Army veteran having served during the Korean War and a member of Chapin Baptist Church and former member of First Baptist Church of Simpsonville. He was a member of the Masons, Scottish Rite, a Shriner and the Order of the Eastern Star.He is survived by his wife, Wilma Leaphart Hill; a daughter, Kathy (Tim) Metts of Little Mountain; grandchildren, Meredith (Leon) Fulmer, Nicole (Kevin) Fulmer; great-grandchildren, Lee, Lyle and Noah Fulmer, K.J. and Kadyn Fulmer; many nieces and nephews. Mr. Hill was predeceased by his twin brother, James Harroll Hill and a sister, Lavenia Tuttle.Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 31, 2011, at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Randy Harlin. Visitation will be Saturday from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home.
