<!-- FH = McSwain-Evans Funeral Home -->Carroll HillLittle MountainThomas Carroll Hill, 82, died Friday, July 29, 2011, at his residence.Born on August 30, 1928, in Great Falls, he was a son of the late James Raleigh and Carrie Lee Bishop Hill. He was retired after 43 years with Winn Dixie and later worked 12 years with Bi Lo. Mr. Hill was a U.S. Army veteran having served during the Korean War and a member of Chapin Baptist Church and former member of First Baptist Church of Simpsonville. He was a member of the Masons, Scottish Rite, a Shriner and the Order of the Eastern Star.He is survived by his wife, Wilma Leaphart Hill; a daughter, Kathy (Tim) Metts of Little Mountain; grandchildren, Meredith (Leon) Fulmer, Nicole (Kevin) Fulmer; great-grandchildren, Lee, Lyle and Noah Fulmer, K.J. and Kadyn Fulmer; many nieces and nephews. Mr. Hill was predeceased by his twin brother, James Harroll Hill and a sister, Lavenia Tuttle.Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 31, 2011, at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Randy Harlin. Visitation will be Saturday from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home.
