Carrie Williams, 92, Nokomis, died Nov. 14, 2002. She was born April 2, 1910, in Venus, Pa., and came to Nokomis in 1973 from McMurray, Pa. She retired as a fourth grade teacher after 30 years at Mount Lebanon School District. She graduated from Slippery Rock, Pa., College and received a master's degree in education from the University of Pittsburgh. She was a member of Venice-Nokomis United Methodist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Susan C. of Monroeville, Pa. A memorial service will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the Chapel at Venice Nokomis United Methodist Church. Inurnment will be in McMurray. National Cremation Society, Venice chapter, is in charge.
