AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest Monday, February 7, 2005 at Salem Nursing Home, Mrs. Carrie Brown of Avery Avenue. Funeral services will be conducted today at 1:00 p.m. from Crawford Grove Baptist Church, Evans, with the Reverend Douglas Mazyck officiating. The remains will lie in state from noon until the hour of service. The funeral procession will leave 4527 Avery Avenue at 12:35 p.m. Interment will be in Crawford Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. She leaves to cherish her memory, one brother, Robert L. Beard, of Plainsfield, NJ; three sisters, Gertrude B. Ware of Martinez, Miriam A. Porter of Augusta and Jessica M.
