Carrie Lou Williams INMAN, SC-- Carrie Lou Williams, 94, of Inman, formerly of Spartanburg, died Sunday, October 6, 2013. Born October 31, 1918, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late James Smiley and Carrie Emily McMillan Williams. She was a member of Gravely Memorial United Methodist Church in Spartanburg. Surviving is her sister, Sara Ruth McGrath of Orlando, FL; nephews, Mike Williams of Spartanburg, SC, and Robert McGrath (Liz) of Bradenton, FL; great-niece, Cheryl Lynn Crassaris of Anderson, SC; and great-nephew, Kin Anderson of Anderson, SC. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Genevieve "Jenny" W. Foster; a niece, Carolyn W. Anderson; a nephew, James Allan Williams; and three brothers. Visitation will be 10:00-10:45 AM Saturday, October 12, 2013, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Scott S. Gilmer. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gravely Memorial United Methodist Church, 7400 Lone Oak Boulevard, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
