GORDO Carrie Lee Henderson, age 93, of Gordo, died Feb. 3, 2007 at Sansing Country Home. Private graveside services were held Monday, Feb. 5, 2007 at 10 a.m. at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Rev. C.M. Langford officiating and Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.Her husband, Archie L. Henderson, her parents, and two brothers, preceded her in death.Survivors include sons, James Henderson (Mary Nell) of Gordo, Ala. and Wallace L. Henderson of Pasadena, Texas; sister, Louise Snow of Panama City, Fla.; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.Mrs. Henderson was born in Marvel, Ala. on April 9, 1913 to the late James M. and Caroline Wright Smith. She was a retired nurse and worked both at Hale Memorial and DCH Regional Medical Center. Carrie was a member of the Baptist faith and the O.E.S. Rachel Chapter 145.
