Williams, Carrie L. RENSSELAER Carrie L. Williams, 87 years old, of Birch Lane, died Monday, June 28, 2010, at Albany Memorial Hospital. Carrie L. Willliams was born on March 23, 1923 in Lynchburg, Va., to Mary and Harry Hunter. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Mary Hunter; her husband Howlett O. Williams Sr. "Popcorn"; her siblings, Senior Dennis, Mildred Brown, James Hunter, Polly Cooper; her children, Shelia E. "Williams" Harris, Harry T. Williams and Sarah E. "Williams" Graham. Carrie leaves to mourn two siblings, Thomas Hunter and Delia Hunter; six children, Homer J. Williams, Otto G. Williams, Howlett O. Williams Jr., Peter S. Williams, Carrey B. Williams and John P. Williams; two daughters-in-law, Lorraine Williams and Coleen Williams; a son-in-law, William Graham; 24 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews; cousins; and a host of friends. Wake will be held at Garland Brothers Funeral Home, 75 Clinton Ave., Albany, N.Y., Thursday, July 8, 2010 from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, July 9, 2010 at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, 441 Washington Ave., Albany, N.Y., 518-463-2505.
