Carrie Lee Jones, 71, of 300 Crane Avenue, Lot #9, died October 31, 2006. Born in Anderson, she was a daughter of the late Major Calhoun Elrod and Ellen Bryant Elrod. She was the wife of the late Mr. Beverly Banks "Casey" Jones. Mrs. Jones was a homemaker and a member of Unity Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Debra L. Rampey and her husband, Donald, and Candy Jones, both of Greenville; a son, Reverend Dr. William "Bill" M. Jones, and wife, Karen, of Crockett, Texas; an adopted son, Billy W. Jones of Greenville; a son-in-law, Johnny G. Karr of Myrtle Beach; six grandsons, Glenn Karr, Daniel Karr and Trinity Karr, all of Myrtle Beach, Casey Rampey of Greenville, and Jonathan Jones and Joshua Jones of Texas; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Ruby Tarte of Conestee; and a brother, Edd Elrod of Greenville. She was predeceased by two daughters, Lona Elizabeth Jones and Beverly Diane Karr.Visitation will be held at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest, Thursday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Funeral services will be at the Northwest Chapel Friday, at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery West. Memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels, 15 Oregon Street, Greenville, SC, 29605. The family will be at 12 Ogden Drive, Greenville, SC 29617.
