School Board LAKELAND - Carrie Bell Jones, age 80 7/31/1928 , of Lakeland, FL, died Friday, August 1, 2008 of heart failure at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in Lakeland, FL. Mrs. Jones was employed by Polk County Schools in the dietary dept. and was a member of New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Willie Haygood and the late Leola Haygood. She is survived by three daughters Parthenia Jones McNeil, Lakeland, FL., Opal Day, Lakeland, FL., Faye Borders, Lakeland, FL.; oneson Benjamin Jones, Jr., Lakeland, FL., brother Henry Haygood, Bartow, Fl.; sister Ella Mae Driskel, Bartow, Fl., Mable Leonard, Bartow, Fl., Earleen Loveless, Bartow, Fl.; five grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by Gause Funeral Home, 625 S. Holland Parkway, Bartow, FL. The family will receive friends from 5 00 PM to 7 00 PM, Friday, August 8, 2008 at New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church 1125 N. New York Avenue, Lakeland, Fl.
