Obituary of Carolyn-Moss Smith


Carolyn "Carol" Moss Smith Macon, Georgia- Carolyn (Carol) Moss Smith died December 7, 2014 Funeral services and Celebration of her life will be held Wednesday, December 10, 2014, at 11 am in the chapel at Hart's Mortuary on Cherry Street with burial following the service at Riverside Cemetery. The Reverend John Horton will officiate. The family will meet friends Tuesday from 5-7 at Hart's Mortuary. The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Martha Bowman United Methodist Church. Mrs. Smith is the wife of the late Paul H. Smith and was born in Macon, Ga to Allen and Ethel Moss. She was a member of Martha Bowman Methodist United Church, The Women at the Well Sunday School Class and the Roberta Gariner UMW Circle. Mrs. Smith retired after a thirty year career with the Georgia Farm Bureau Insurance Company. During her career, Mrs. Smith was very active in the Insurance Women's Association. She was an adoring mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her son Randy Smith (Marcia); daughter Tonya Holmes; granddaughters Ashley Smith and Betsy Mullinax (Brian) and great grandchildren Tucker, Katie Grace, Lillie and Carolyn Banks Mullinax.
