Carolyn retired from UPS, was a realtor in Louisville, and had been a member of the Highview Baptist Church. She was predeceased by her husband,Jerry Smith; a daughter, Julie Stasel and a step-son, Mike Smith.Left to cherish her memory are her brother, Gene Bewley; a son, Ralph (Jennifer) Stasel of Medina, TN; stepchildren, Mark Smith (Angela) of New Albany, IN; grandchildren; Christina Stasel - Munfordville, KY; Tracey Thompson of Dallas, TX; Reese; Kaysey and Ryan Stasel both of Medina, TN; Joshua Bell of Louisville; step grandchildren; Shawn Smith of Charlotte, NC; Jade Smith of Keysburg, KY; and Courtney Smith of New Albany, IN.A Life Celebration service for Carolyn will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road, with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will start at 9 a.m. prior to service on Saturday.
