Johnson, Carolyn Patricia Florida: June 2, 1939 - March 30, 2008. Carolyn Patricia Johnson, 68, Sarasota, died March 30, 2008. Carolyn Patricia Johnson died peacefully after a brief illness. Carol was a beautiful person outside and inside, always caring for others. She was a faithful member of First Presbyterian Church and the Presbyterian Women, Rachael Circle. She was also a member of the Society Inc., three book clubs locally, the Lunch Crunchers and Alive After Five Dinner Club. She and her husband traveled around the world to enjoy all the cultures. She was an avid crossword puzzle fan. Reading was a joy, as was seeing to others' needs, both friends and family. Survivors include her husband, Robert; 2 sisters; 4 stepchildren; 11 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild. Her son Paul Rousseau preceded her in death. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church in Sarasota. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Carol Johnson Scholarship Fund and sent to First Presbyterian Church, 2050 Oak St., Sarasota, FL 34237.
