Carolyn "Pug" McAlister James, 83, died Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2003. Surviving are a son, James "Jimmy" Martin, of Greenville; three daughters, Betty Sargent and Becky Tollison, both of Greenwood, and Nancy M. Steading, of Mauldin; a sister, Dot Riser, of Ninety Six; a brother, M.F. "Penny" McAlister, of Abbeville; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Greenwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Harley Funeral Home on Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
