<!-- DisplayFullObituaryText -->1/17/1932 - 12/2/2014 Carolyn Eubanks, age 82, of Mobile, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at her residence. She was born January 17, 1932, in the Bexley Community of George County, MS. Mrs. Eubanks was a retired teacher from Central Elementary School, having taught in George County School System for over 25 years. She was a member of Holmes Missionary Baptist Church in Lucedale, MS. She was preceded in death by her parents, Shelton Horace and Alma Doris McInnis Dickerson and a sister, Glenna Onte Churchwell. She is survived by her daughter, Debra Porter (Stanley) Pruett, Mobile, AL; 2 sons, Glen Raymond (Bonnie) Porter, Liberal, KS, and James Michael Eubanks, Atlanta, GA; granddaughter, Miranda (Doug) Troy; grandson, Joseph (Tina) Pruett; 4 great grandchildren, Sophia Troy, Elizabeth Troy, Kali Pruett and Aspen Pruett; a brother, Shelton Dickerson, Lucedale, MS and a sister, Rachel (Terry) Smith, Lucedale, MS. Visitation will be held Monday, December 8, 2014, from 6 to 9 PM in the Chapel of the George County Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2014, at 11 AM in the Chapel with Dr. David Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodard Cemetery. George County Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
