ANDERSON, Carolyn E., 86, of Inverness, Fla., passed away January 16, 2006. The service of rememberance will take place 2 p.m. Saturday, January 21, 2006, at the Inverness Chapel of Hooper Funeral Homes, with the Rev. Donnie Seagle officiating. Friends, who wish, may make memorial donations to the American Cancer Society. She was born Ocilla, Ga., and came to Inverness in 1979 from Jacksonville. Mrs. Anderson retired after 10 years as a receptionist for the Florida Department of Transportation, Jacksonville, was a member of First Baptist Church, Inverness, and enjoyed cooking, gardening and sewing. She was the wife of the late Delma "Andy" Anderson, who passed away October 13, 2000. Surviving are her son, Delma M. Anderson, Kennesaw, Ga.; two daughters, Dellyn A. McConnon, Fort Lauderdale, and Andrea A. Puhy, Alpharetta, Ga.; two sisters, Alma Erwin DeWald, Tampa, and Elizabeth Erwin Burnside, Tifton, Ga.; and five grandchildren, Shawn and Jennifer Anderson, Chandler and Madison Puhy, and De rrick Davis.
