Obituary of Caroll-Baillie Taylor


TAYLOR Caroll Baillie Taylor passed away January 29, 2008, at Community Hospice after a long battle with cancer. She was born January 13, 1931 in Pasco County, Florida, the sixth of seven children of Albert David Baillie and Leola Boyette Baillie. She spent her career as a registered nurse in Jacksonville before retiring from Memorial Medical Center. She was a member of Lakeshore Baptist Church, loved gardening in her yard and was a member of the Garden Club of Jacksonville. She was preceded in death by brothers, David Jr., and Sam, and sisters, Gwendolyn Ellis and Eleanore Clark. She is survived by brother Gerald Baillie and sister Elizabeth Baillie, daughters Galen (Bill) Chambers and Debi Gulbrand, son Chris (Elaine) Atchison, granddaughters Beth (Scott) Long, Lea Tshorn, Catherine (Robert) Chapman, grandsons David (Nadja) Gulbrand and Sam Gulbrand, great-granddaughter Reagan Long and great-grandsons Flynn and Baillie Long. In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial contributions be made to: Community Hospice of Northeast Florida, 4114 Sunbeam Road, Suite 101, Jacksonville, Florida 32257 Memorial service will be held 10:00a.m., Saturday, February 9, 2008 at Lakeshore Baptist Church, 2363 Blanding Blvd. Jacksonville with Rev.
