MANCHESTER -- Carole E. (Thompson) Turgeon, 62, died July 31, 2010, at Elliot Hospital after a brief illness. She was born in Manchester on Aug. 1, 1947, to Charles and Rachel (Lefebvre) Thompson. She was a graduate of Memorial High School in 1965. She lived in Manchester most of her life and for 22 years at various locations that her husband's military career brought them. She worked as a personnel specialist at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Manchester for many years. IN HER LIFE: The family includes her husband of 44 years, Andre W. Turgeon of Manchester; four children, David K. Turgeon of Georgia, Deborah A. Lohman of Virginia, Daniel K. Turgeon of Manchester and Dennis K. Turgeon of Goffstown; seven grandchildren, Michael, Michelle, Anna and Carolann Turgeon, Andre Lohman, Dennis K. Turgeon Jr. and Taylor Schmeltz; two step-grandchildren, Terrence and Tyler; her father of Florida; a brother, Robert Thompson of Florida; and aunts, uncles, cousins, and one nephew. SERVICES: Calling hours are Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester. There is no funeral planned. www.lambertfuneralhome.com.
