Rice-Smith, Carole A. Greece: Suddenly, Friday, January 8, 2010, at age 62. Predeceased by her father, Ivan Rice; sister, Doris Langford. Survived by her mother Myrtle Rice; husband, Bruce Smith; nephews, Jeff & Shawn Langford; cousin, Jean Madison; step-children, Scott (Tabitha) Smith, Tara (Casey) Dolan; grandchildren, Emma Smith, Peter Smith, Addyson Dolan. Carole volunteered at the Fairbank's Elementary School in Churchville. She was devoted to children, loved her grandchildren and enjoyed working with crafts and scrapbooking. Friends may call Tuesday, 2-5 PM at the Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road. The family invites close relatives and close friends only to her Memorial Service held on Wednesday, 1:00 PM in the chapel of the funeral home. Interment private.
