<!-- DisplayFullObituaryText -->Carol Suzon DavisIn Loving Memory of one of God's beloved children, who has returned to her Heavenly Father, she will be greatly missed.Carol Suzon Davis was born on July 24, 1943 in Anderson, Indiana to Mary and James Banta. She attended Anderson High School and then Purdue University where she studied art and industrial design. For many years she performed the duties of a US Air Force Officer's wife in several states as well as England and Germany.Suzon was a long time resident of Pensacola, Florida where she and her sister owned The Quilt Corner. She was an expert and exceptional seamstress, designer, and quilter. She was a gifted sewing teacher with many devoted students. Her specialized skills were indispensable to the production of prototype garments to improve aviation safety for the Naval Aerospace Medical Research Laboratory at NAS Pensacola. Suzon was surprised at how much she enjoyed hockey and was a Pensacola Ice Pilots season ticket holder for several seasons. Many of her lifelong friends, whom she loved dearly, where those she met in Pensacola.Suzon moved to Reno in 2005 to be close to family. She continued her work as a seamstress and sewing teacher. She was a cherished member of the Mountain View Montessori School Community as a grandparent. She offered her time, talent, and skills to the students and families.Suzon was a devout Christian. She had a deep understanding of the Bible that only comes from dedicated study. Suzon was a loving and kind person, not only to people she knew and loved, but to strangers as well. She had a very humble spirit and truely gave selflessly. Suzon will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and everyone who had the opportunity to know her.Suzon is survived by her children: Phil & Mishre Davis and Jen & Dan Masterson; her grandchildren: Philip & Lydia Davis, Emily Davis, Jack Masterson and Maggie (Margaret Suzon) Masterson; her great grandchildren: Alexis, Emily, Johnathan, and William; and her sisters: Patricia Baker and Debbie & Tony Potochnik.A brief celebration of Suzon's life will be held on Saturday, June 28th at 8:00 a.m. at 225 East Intendencia St. PensacolaExpress your condolences in our guestbook at pnj.com/obits
