Aug. 23, 1955 - Aug. 11, 2011 Carol A. Smith Carol Ann Clark Smith, 55, of Huntsville passed away Thursday after an extended illness. She was born in Lewisburg, Tenn., and received her Bachelor of Science in nursing from UAH. Carol was preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Winston David Smith and Flora Basher Smith of Sylacauga. Survivors include her husband of 28 years, Mickey L. Smith; sons, Michael David-Lane Smith and Marc-Alan Smith; stepdaughters, Fara Caudle and husband Lyn, Janessa Straud, and Brianna Felch and husband Richard; mother, Joan Paris and husband Bill; sisters, Barbara "Bo" Wagner and husband Steve, Kathy Demumbreum and husband Kenneth, Linda Dearman, Dickie Cummings and husband Bobby, and Carlene Beard; and 10 grandchildren. A celebration of life will be announced later by Berryhill Funeral Home.
