RAWSON, Carol Edris Logie (Anderson) Of St. Thomas and formerly of Essex, on Sunday, September 3, 2006, at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital, in her 71st year. Dearly loved wife of Jake Rawson and the late Jack Walton (1988). Loved mother of Jim Walton and his partner Cheryl Leavoy of Belle River, Judy White and partner Andy Robinson, of Essex, Joanne and her husband Ron Voakes of St. Thomas and John and his wife Wendy Walton, of Essex. Dear sister of Roger and his wife Lyn Anderson of Everett and John and his wife Pauline Anderson of Campbellville. Dear step-mother of Alvin Rawson and his partner Jennifer Moon of Hornby, and Jane Schembri and her husband Vince of Windsor. Sadly missed by 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews and a number of friends in Country Village, Bradenton, Florida. Carol was born in Sarnia on December 1, 1935, the daughter of the late Frank and Grace (Smith) Anderson. Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas where funeral service will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. Cremation to follow. Visitation Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Flowers gratefully declined, with remembrances to the Lung Association.
