->WATERVILLE -- Carol M. Miller, 67, of Waterville, died Sunday, April 29, 2007, at MaineGeneral Medical Center, Thayer Unit, Waterville, with her family by her side.She was born in Lynn, Mass., Aug. 29, 1939, the daughter of Richard and Mary (Stover) Mathews.Carol graduated from St. Mary's High School in Lynn in 1957. She was employed for many years as a receptionist with JP Morgan Chase in Lexington, Mass. Carol will be remembered by her family most fondly for her cooking and the crafts that she created.Carol was predeceased by a brother, Richard "Sonny" Mathews.Surviving along with her husband, Robert D. Miller, of Waterville, are three children, Robert D. Miller Jr. and his wife, Monica, of Sacramento, Calif., Mary A. Carpinito and her husband, Angelo, of Winslow, and Jodi Marie Miller of Middleton, Mass.; three brothers, Robert Mathews and his wife, Helen, of South Carolina, William Mathews and his wife, Anne, of Ballwin, Mo., and James Mathews and his wife, Jean, of Lynn; sister-in-law Cora Mathews of Saugus, Mass.; six grandchildren, Robert III, Kyle, Joshua, Shannon, Jacob and Brittany; a great-grandchild, Cailey; as well as many nieces and nephews.At Carol's request there will be no visiting hours.
