Obituary of Carol M. Murphy


Carol Marie (Grenon) Murphy, of Weymouth, formerly of South Boston died at home Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2010. She was 45 years of age. She was a long time employee of the Massachusetts Housing Finance Agency in Boston. She especially enjoyed spending time with her children. She also enjoyed cooking, writing recipes and watching the food network. Carol is survived by her children Cameron and Hannah Murphy and their father Scott Murphy all of South Weymouth. Loving companion of Joseph Harrington of South Weymouth. Sister of John J. Grenon and his wife Wendy of Weymouth and the late Robert F. Grenon Jr. Devoted aunt of Matt, Katie and Baylee Grenon. Also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins. Daughter of the late Robert F. and Joan M. (Coveney) Grenon. Funeral from the McDonald Funeral Home, South Weymouth, at 809 Main St. (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hosp.) Saturday at 9 a.m. Funeral Mass to follow in Saint Francis Xavier Church, South Weymouth at 10 oclock. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Friday from 4 | 8 p.m. Interment will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carols memory to the United Cerebral Palsy Foundation, 71 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472 or to the American Liver Foundation, New England Division, 88 Winchester St., Newton, MA 02461.
