Carol Lofton Moore-Smith - SAVANNAH - Carol Lofton Moore-Smith, entered into eternal rest on the afternoon of September 29, 2007, Carol Lofton Moore-Smith, wife of Malberry Smith. Mrs. Moore-Smith was born on January 7, 1933, the daughter of John M. and Lalla Hutchinson Moore. She was a retired hostess in the hospitality/restaurant industry. She was a former member of the Cathedral of St. Luke and St. Paul in Charleston, and was an active hospital volunteer for many years. She is survived by her husband of Savannah, GA; one son, William J. Coin and wife Dana of Savannah; one step-son, Steve Smith of Atlanta, GA; two step-daughters, Julie Smith and husband Lee Pryor of New Orleans, LA, and Mittie Staininger and husband Greg of Savannah; one brother, Jackson H. Moore, Sr. and wife Beverly of Charleston, SC; one sister, Alice Moore Robinson of Boca Raton, FL; two grandchildren, Alec R. Coin and Bonnie Sue Coin of Savannah; two step-grandchildren, Teagan Coin-Fisher and Powell Coin-Fisher of Savannah; several step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Smith are invited to attend the funeral services of the latter Wednesday at eleven o'clock Cryptside at Live Oak Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
