Carol Kathleen Green . Carol passed away on March 24, 2014 at West Coast General Hospital. With her loving family by her side she peacefully and courageously left us to be with her Lord and Saviour. Carol was born in Port Alberni on April 4, 1941; for a short time she lived in Victoria but then became a lifelong resident here. She is predeceased by her father Kermit Green, niece Kathy York and nephew Rorie Green and is survived by Peter Brennan, her loving partner of 25 years, children Debby (Gary) Posnick, Bobby (Tina) Frechette and Sandy (Bob) Gauthier, grandchildren Christopher Bronson, Jody Bronson, Christina Frechette and six great grandchildren, her mother Kathleen Isabel Green, her siblings Sharon (Fred) Bernstein, Dennis (Robin) Green, Linda (Garth) Ramsay and many nieces and nephews. Carol worked for many years for the Home Support Association. She adored the outdoors - camping, gardening and her beautiful house plants. She had a green thumb like no one else. She was a long standing member of the Legion. A Celebration of her life will be held at Yates Funeral Service on April 12, 2014 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Carol's memory may be made to the S.P.C.A. - she loved animals dearly, especially her beloved cats.
