Carol Jean O'Neal, 61, died April 8, 2012, at Sebastian River Medical Center, Sebastian. She was born in Bluefield, W.Va., and moved to Indian River County in 1976 from Virginia. She was a teacher at St. Joseph Catholic School in Palm Bay and Melbourne Central Catholic High School. Survivors include her husband, Thomas O'Neal Jr. of Sebastian; and son, Thomas O'Neal III of Augusta, Ga. She was preceded in death by her sister, Reba Akers. Services: A service will be at 1 p.m. April 27 at Strunk Funeral Home in Vero Beach with the Rev. Derrick West of First Baptist Church officiating.
