Carol Denise Smith, 56, of Panama City Beach, FL, passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2011, in a local hospital. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend who will be dearly missed.She is survived by her parents: William "Pete" Smith and Ann Smith; one son: Chase Smith (Mercedes McHenry); one sister: Janet Singletary (Gene); one brother: Glenn Smith (Tammy); five nephews: Tyler, Colt, Dylan, Tannor and Taylor; and many close friends and family. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, August 30, 2011, at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Kennedy officiating. Interment will follow at Forest-Lawn Cemetery.
