<!-- FH = Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home -->Carol (Ann) McPhearson Bishop, 77, of 150 Downs Blvd. E-204, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 7, 2011.Born in Baton Rouge, LA, Ann was the daughter of the late Odis Howard and Margaret Belle Stockton McPhearson. She was a Phi Mu graduate of LSU in Hospital Dietetics. Over the years, she was very active with her church, serving as church hostess and Sunday School teacher. She was active in bible studies, WMU, local women's clubs and served as a volunteer with many organizations, including Meals on Wheels. She loved cooking, gardening, sewing, and spending time with friends and family. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Mrs. Bishop is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Eugene H. Bishop; a daughter, Becky Wyatt (Bill) of Pendleton; two sons, Eugene, Jr. of Walhalla and Michael Bishop (Janice) of Clemson; six grandchildren, Mandy and Will Wyatt, Josh (Meg) and Sallie Bishop, Sean and McKenzie Bishop; two great-grandchildren, Adalynn and Haley Ann. A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at 1:00PM at First Baptist Church of Clemson, with receiving of friends following the service.
