Obituary of Carol-Anne O-Neill

SHANE, Carol Anne (nee O'Neill) (Former Secretary of Our Lady of Divine Love and Pope John Paul II Catholic Schools for 28 years) Peacefully on Tuesday, August 1, 2006 at the age of 57 years, of Pendleton, ON. Daughter of the late William O'Neill and the late Mary Michaud, step-daughter of the late Mary Edwards. Dearest wife of Donald Shane, loving mother of Jennifer Marie (Roberto Multari) and Troy Michael Shane. Proudest grandmother of Lilyanna Maria Multari. Loving sister of Loretta (Everet Boudreau), Rosemary (Andre Robillard), and Joan (Ken Scott). Predeceased by brothers Donald O'Neill (Katherine Benson) and Norman O'Neill. Also survived by step-sister Jo-Anne Edwards and step-brother Joe Edwards (Paulette). Sister-in-law to Rosemary Connerty (Jim), late Murray McKinley (Dianna), Allan McKinley (Diane), Brian McKinley (late Joyce) and Ross McKinley. Also sadly missed by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Friends and relatives may visit at Lamarre & Son Funeral Home, 453 St-Philippe, Alfred, Ont. on Friday, August 4, 2006 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. Funeral Service Saturday, August 5th at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Divine Love Catholic Church of Pendleton. Interment Our Lady of Divine Love Cemetery. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff of the 5th Floor of The Elisabeth Bruyere Centre (Palliative Care) for their devoted care provided to Carol Anne. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Ottawa Hospital (General Campus; Cancer Research) or to The Elisabeth Bruyere Palliative Care Centre would be appreciated.
