Obituary of Carol-Ann Henry


DOUCETTE, CAROL ANN (HENRY) - The death of Carol Doucette, wife of David Doucette of Glenview Drive, Saint John East, occurred March 27, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Berwick, NS, on July 12, 1947 to the late Charles and Susan (Owen) Henry. She was employed most recently at the Salvation Army, but was employed for the Bowling Alley at Hay Market Square earlier in her life. Carol loved family camping trips in the summer. She enjoyed her flower gardens and Nora Roberts novels. Besides her husband Dave, Carol is survived by three sons: Richard and Randall (Tanya) Spears and Joseph Doucette all of Saint John, NB; daughter: Lisa (Steven) Ratcliffe of Saint John, NB; nine Grandchildren: Victoria and Patrick Spears, Mya Moore-Spears, Steven and Tyler Moore, Douglas and David Stewart, and Terry and Sara Ratcliffe; brother: Michael; two sisters: Theresa and Josephine "Sister", best friend Jeannie Krumrei, Donna and Ann who Carol and Dave brought up, and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB with visitation on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held from Brenan's Chapel on March 31, 2006 at 11 am. Internment will be in Ocean View Memorial Gardens after the funeral.
