Carol Allen Blackburn, 51, died Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2015, at Jewish Hospital Shelbyville. She was preceded in death by her father, James Allen; and father-in-law, Eugene Blackburn. She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Thomas S. Blackburn of Shelbyville; mother, Mildred Allen of Shelbyville; son, Lorenzo Blackburn of Shelbyville; daughters, Katrina Blackburn and Whitley Blackburn of Shelbyville; brothers, James B. Allen of Shelbyville, Donald Ray Allen of New Castle, Phillip Allen of California, and Patrick Allen of Louisville; aunt, Dorothy Farris of Shelbyville. Funeral Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 26 at the Shannon Funeral Home. Visitation is Wednesday 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial is at Calvary Cemetery.
