HARE, CARO ELIZABETH LEITNERCaro Elizabeth Leitner Hare, age 94, passed away Monday, August 18, 2008 at her home in Micanopy, Fl. She was a homemaker and longtime member of the Micanopy First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband- Joseph John Hare, and is survived by her son- John B. Hare of Micanopy, a daughter- Mary Inez Hare Crowley and her husband Richard V. Crowley, MD. Of Kings Mountain, NC, a sister- Bernice Leitner Yawn of Micanopy, grandchildren- Jeri Hare Evans, John L. (Debbie) Hare, James L. (Freddie) Hare, Heather C. (David) Chadwick, Richard Vick (Loretta) Crowley, Jr. Joseph H. Crowley, and John Edward Crowley, ten great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews. There will be a visitation for one hour prior to the funeral service at the Micanopy First United Methodist Church, 201 NW 2nd Avenue, Micanopy, Fl. 32667 on Saturday, August 23, 2008 at 11:00 am with interment to follow in Micanopy Historic Cemetery.
