BARETTE-WADDELL, Carmen Carmen Barette-Waddell passed away on January 29th, 2004, at age 83. She was the youngest daughter of Alderic Barette and Adele Paradis, both deceased. Her brothers,Lucien and Yvon Barette, and her sister, Alberte Barette-Reardon, have all passed away. She was married to Walter (Pete) Waddell, a kind and gentleman, deceased in 1994. Mother of Robert W. Waddell, who died abruptly in July 2002, she is survived by her only daughter Louise Waddell-Yelle, her son-in-law Roger Yelle and her two grandchildren whom she adored: Natalie Yelle and Caroline Yelle. She also leaves behind many nephews, nieces and friends. We shall all miss that twinkle in her eye. She was a discreet, loving person for whom family life was highly valued. The loss of her son Robert in 2002, left her with a deep sorrow that she found very difficult to overcome. A Fund was created in her son's memory and she would want his good work in Education, Health and the Arts to be continued. Therefore, in lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the: Robert W. Following her wishes, there will be no funeral parlor, but a commemorative mass will be celebrated in simplicity, Saturday, February 7th, 2004 at 11:00 o'clock at Notre-Dame-de-Lorette Church, 45 Prevost St. (corner of Begin), in Hull, (Val-Tetreault area). The family wishes to thank the medical staff of the Special Care Unit, 3rd floor at the CHVO in Hull, who took very good care of our mother and grandmother during her very brief illness.
