Carlton was born Feb. 1, 1924 in Hurricane, WV to the late William Herbert and Faye (Bayliss) Miller. He moved to this area in 1959 coming from Ohio. Carlton served in the US Navy during WWII. He was a self-employed painting contra-ctor and an avid golfer. Carlton was predeceased by his loving wife, Alice in 2000 and also two sons, Stephen Lee Miller and Daniel Joseph Miller. He is survived by a son, Mike (Sigrid) Miller of St Petersburg and a daughter LeAnne (Jack) Gerhart Panfili of Largo along with ten grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.
